About the Theme
This year’s theme highlights the agency's efforts to modernize the agriculture sector while also making it appealing and engaging for Filipino youth, addressing their disinterest in agriculture and the aging population of farmers.
PHilMech aims to make agriculture "lit" (a GenZ slang) or fun/exciting for young people, demonstrating that it can be a sustainable and lasting career option for future generations, all through the power of mechanization or using machines on the farm.
